Overview

We are recruiting for an Operative Technician to join our team in Selkirk.

What you'll be doing

Duties will include:
- Cleaning and disinfection of small and large drained drinking water storage tanks, and other water storage systems such as emergency shower units
- Assist in inspecting and cleaning full water tanks using small robotic inspection vehicles
- Develop and maintain a great working relationship with clients
- Ensure all health and safety processes are followed and all equipment used is maintained and exceptionally clean

Who we’re looking for

While attitude is more important to us than qualifications, the Operative Technician will ideally have a full clean Driving Licence.

You may be either a seasoned construction professional or have experience of using hand tools and looking to build upon the early stages of your career.

Perhaps you have decided to change career path but are willing to get stuck in and learn. If you have the right aptitude and attitude, we can do the rest.

 

Essential:

  • The applicant must currently hold a valid Driving Licence
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends
  • Willingness to travel as part of the role and stay away overnight regularly

Desirable:

  • Experience of the Water or Construction industry
  • Confined Spaces
  • CSCS
  • EUSR/DOMS water hygiene certificates
