Overview

We’re looking for an Integrated Site & Asset Inspector to join our team in Waterlooville, supporting projects on clean water sites.

 

In this role, you’ll carry out inspections and assessments of potable water reservoirs, including structural and site surveys, confined space inspections and preparing technical reports.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Project Manager, the role involves managing day-to-day site operations, acting as the link between site staff and project management, developing scopes of work, and deliverables with both internal Project Management and Client teams.
 
 
• Working in a reactive environment, assist the Project Manager to fulfil client requirements in a multi-site capacity from pre-construction to post-construction in line with all relevant policies, procedures, and best working practices.
• Conduct pre-inspection site surveys in line with client reporting requirements.
• Facilitate inspections and complete surveys to identify internal and external structural issues that may impact water quality.
• Identify and report potential health and safety hazards related to the site and reservoir structure.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports using client-specified templates, outlining identified defects and recommended remedial actions, and ensure submission within 28 days of inspection.
• Provide guidance to site teams on systems, processes and best practice 
• Conduct site audits, identifying and escalating issues a necessary, and close out issues and actions in a proactive manner.
• Review and sign on to site files, including but not limited to the project programme, RAMS, CPPs, and quality documentation.
• Act as temporary works supervisor as and when required.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, safety bulletins, etc, ensuring all personnel receive necessary and relevant information consistently throughout the project lifecycle

Who we’re looking for

• Proven experience managing operations across multiple sites.
• Strong background in civils, waterproofing, and concrete repair.
• Extensive experience inspecting and making assessments of potable water reservoirs, including site and structural surveys, facilitating confined space inspections, preparing technical reports including the developing scopes of work. 
• Physically fit to enter confined spaces and access works on a construction site.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality, with solid knowledge of HSE regulations.
• Hold a current CSCS Card (ideally Gold Supervisor Card) SMSTS (or SSSTS with the ability to work towards achieving SMSTS as a minimum).
• Full UK driving licence.
