Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Chawston.


• £28,000 – £32,000 doe
• Hybrid working arrangements

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will provide administrative support to the Payroll Manger whilst working collaboratively with other departments. 
 
 
• Accurately process weekly PayGo timesheet information onto all necessary systems ensuring that tight deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate data management and update employee records in all necessary systems.
• This includes but is not limited to adding new starters, processing leavers and salary changes.
• Ensure Pension records are updated for all new starters, leavers, opt outs and any other relevant changes. 
• Accurately process all aspects of statutory payments and deductions within monthly payroll deadlines.
• Accurate processing and communication of information to authorised internal, external and Government third parties.
• Assist with the resolution and investigation of employee queries relating to pay.
• Ad hoc cover for weekly expenses process.

Who we’re looking for

• Prevision experience in payroll administration with a solid understanding of payroll legislation, tax rates, and statutory requirements
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills, with the confidence to challenge the quality of data
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work proactively, manage tight deadlines, and use initiative to resolve issues
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
